Once those fill up\, it’s standing-room only (max capacity of 90 people\, including staff). \n— \nOld School Shakespeare Omaha Brings “Hamlet” to Six Unique Omaha Venues \nOmaha\, NE – January 14\, 2026 – Old School Shakespeare Omaha (OSSO) is thrilled to present William Shakespeare’s renowned tragedy\, Hamlet\, in a series of free and public performances across Omaha. Experience the magic of Shakespeare in unconventional settings\, with a unique\, high-energy approach. \nOSSO’s signature style features\, “Serious Actors. No Director. One Rehearsal.” This innovative process results in a largely improvised and engaging performance\, where audience interaction is not only welcomed but encouraged. Keep your phones on and be ready to cheer\, laugh\, and become part of the play! \nPerformance Schedule: \n\nThurs\, March 5 at 7:30 PM at Site-1 Brewing\nFri\, March 6 at 7:30 PM at Big Grove Brewing (Union Room)\nSunday\, March 8 at 2:00 PM at The Reading Room\nTuesday\, March 10 at 7:30 PM at Benson Theatre\nWednesday\, March 11 at 7:30 PM at Set the Bar\nSaturday\, March 14 at 7:30 PM at Myrtle & Cypress (@ Omaha Conservatory of Music)\n\nThis marks OSSO’s 12th Shakespeare production in Omaha bars and public spaces since their inaugural performance in 2022.  \nAll performances are free and open to the public\, with a suggested donation of $20 per person. Cash and Venmo donations will be accepted at each venue.
