SUMMARY:Meet and Greet with Local Author Bella Scipione
DESCRIPTION:Free and open to the public. \nJoin us at 10:30 a.m. on Friday\, April 24 to meet local author Bella Scipione. She recently released Love Letters from a 20-Something\, a narrative nonfiction essay collection that explores love\, loss\, identity\, and self-discovery in the transformative decade of one’s twenties. \nAbout the author: \nBella Scipione is a writer and traveler based in Denver\, Colorado. She earned a Bachelor of Social Work from Creighton University and holds a Master of Science in Global Health\, Social Justice\, and Public Policy from King’s College London. \nHer writing is shaped by years of living and traveling across more than twenty-five countries\, experiences that fostered a deep interest in connection\, empathy\, and the stories people carry. \nWith a background rooted in social work and global health\, Scipione approaches storytelling as both a creative and ethical practice. She believes stories have the power to humanize\, to challenge assumptions\, and to create space for vulnerability in a world that often prioritizes certainty over curiosity. Her work explores themes of identity\, love\, grief\, travel\, mental health\, and becoming—often blurring the line between personal narrative and collective experience. \nThrough her writing\, Bella hopes to invite readers into honest reflection and shared understanding\, reminding them that connection can be found anywhere: across borders\, in moments of transition\, and within ourselves.
